Spartan cameras are commercialized in the United States under that name and are one of the best-selling cameras with a shipping function there. We are direct distributors for the manufacturer, Spromise.
Finally, the new Spartan cameras arrived in 2022, with big changes in the general appearance and with new functionalities. This S68 model is the smallest ever manufactured by Spromise and has a very modern external appearance similar to the Browning cameras.
With the characteristic grouping of the sensors and lens in the upper area and a front door that gives way to the buttons and a large LED display. This configuration is the one spreading among most manufacturers as the most effective since, among other things, the screen allows the framing to be visualized, and the general waterproofing of the equipment is greatly improved.
The backlit keypad and the large display, with an easy to view and program menu, are very convenient to check in the field. Another important improvement is a very robust metal rear anchor that allows the camera to be placed in a tree (important, an allen key is required!!).
The lens is of the panoramic type, with a FOV of 78°, which greatly improves the field of view compared to other cameras. The image quality is excellent, with the typical aspect of panoramic lenses with deformation at the edges. The night illumination is very powerful, no-glow type light in which the LED does not shine, with a range of about 20m.
The photo resolution is 5, 8, and 24 mpx and in video 720 p, 1080 p and 1440 p.
Shooting speed has been improved, with an excellent 0.4 s in stills and 1.3 s in video, with a recovery time of only 1.8 s.
The sensor reaches a range of 25 meters.
Time-lapse can be programmed to shoot at different intervals, from 30 seconds to 24 hours. Daily operating hours can also be programmed.
The Spartan is manufactured with top quality products, the case is made of a robust material and both the fasteners and the rest of the elements are of excellent quality.
