Description
This camera meets all the needs that we have always thought a camera with an internet connection should have.
Finally a camera with 4G-LTE connection with very good optics, intense night lighting, with an internal rechargeable lithium battery and that includes its own solar panel that recharges it. In addition, it is easily managed through an Android and IOS application, with real-time viewing with incredible quality and speed, and if that were not enough, with a free SIM, meaning that any company can be used without having to contract with the manufacturer.
One of the best features of this model is that it requires virtually no programming, as the connection between the camera and the SIM is made very easily. First, the UCON APP application is installed and once activated, a QR code is read on the camera’s casing, and it is activated directly. It has a voice guidance system that indicates the following steps.
Using the application, the programming can be modified as quickly and easily as if it were in your hand. We love the option of directly seeing what is happening at that moment live, being able to activate the microphone and listen to the ambient sound, as if you were right there…
You can also see the photos or videos that the camera has stored on the SDXC memory card or that it has uploaded to the cloud, or download the images or videos you want to your phone, even activate a speaker and have your voice heard through the camera…
Multiple cameras can be managed simultaneously and can be located on a map contained in the application, which is very useful when sharing the camera with other people from the same work team or friends.
The camera includes a solar panel that feeds the internal battery, so we can forget about changing batteries or the camera stopping working because the batteries run out.
All these features make it a very interesting camera for wildlife observation and especially for property surveillance, as it has very direct visual access to the monitored area.
Before hiring a company for the SIM, we recommend checking the coverage and signal strength in the area where we will place the camera. Currently there are very cheap rates, such as Simyo, which provides sufficient data for just 3 euros per month.
