Description
The new range of Core DS (Dual Sensor) cameras from Bushnell, joins the trend of two different image sensors, one for day and one for night, initiated by the Browning XD series. This allows photos to be sharper and better lit, as each image sensor is prepared for each type of lighting (daylight or infrared light).
Also like Browning, it begins to use larger LEDs which reduces consumption while providing greater lighting power.
This set of improvements, allows night photos and videos to be some of the best currently among the "black light" cameras (the LEDs do not glow). The images are contrasty, sharp and the illumination is very deep. In the conventional infrared light model "Core DS low glow" the illumination is even more intense.
The speed of the electronic circuitry is one of the best we've seen. The shutter speed of only 0.2 sec and the recovery time of 0.6 mean that this camera doesn't miss a single detail of everything that moves in front of it.
