Description
The new line of Bushnell Core DS (Dual Sensor) cameras joins the trend of two different image sensors, one for day and one for night, initiated by the Browning XD series. This allows for sharper and better illuminated photos, as each image sensor is prepared for each type of illumination (daylight or infrared light).
Also like Browning, this line of cameras is beginning to use larger LEDs, which reduces consumption while providing greater illumination power.
This set of improvements allows night photos and videos to be some of the best among “no glow” cameras (the LEDs do not glow). Images are contrasted, sharp and the illumination is very deep. In the conventional infrared light model “Core DS low glow” the illumination is even more intense.
This updated version (ref bushnell: 119987M) incorporates 4K video (3840 x2160) at 30 fps and photo resolution up to 32 mpx (7552×4248), making it surely one of the cameras with the highest resolution of all.
The speed of the electronic circuitry is one of the best we have seen. The shutter speed of only 0.15 sec and the recovery time of 0.5 sec mean that this camera does not miss any detail of anything that moves in front of it.
